On the occasion of International Yoga Day, a mass yoga was organised by Young Indians at seven places in Jamshedpur on Wednesday. These include Six Masti Ki Pathshala and Arka Jain University. During this, 780 children of Masti Ki Pathshala and 150 students of Arka Jain University participated. The team of Isha Foundation led this yoga practice online. At the end of the yoga practice, the children also took a pledge 'Yes I have included yoga in my life'.
Umang Agarwal, chair of health vertical of Young Indians Jamshedpur chapter, said that yoga enables and strengthens the unity of mind, body and soul. He said that yoga is not only for one day but for every day. Yoga is health insurance with zero budget. It reflects our cultural philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
Describing the theme of this year's Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam as the theme of the G20 summit being hosted by India this year, one earth, one family, one future, he said that this occasion is an occasion for universal brotherhood.
Underlining the importance of June 21, Prateek Agarwal, Chair, Young Indians Jamshedpur Chapter, said that being closest to the Sun, today is the biggest day of the year in a large part of the world. He said that today many people are making yoga their career. The specialty of Indians is that we learn the skill immediately. The focus of the organization is to connect the youth with yoga. Young Indians' Ankit Kanwatiya, Prantik Kumar, Rishabh Mehta, Vivek Debuka, Sakshi Gupta, Bhavin Gandhi, Shruti Jhunjhunwala, Pulkit Jhunjhunwala, etc. were present on the occasion of yoga practice ceremony.
