City born artist Swati Ghosh has once again made India proud in a foreign land, in this ‘Incontri Europe’ exhibition on display of historical paintings at the prestigious Palace “Palazzo di Acurcio” in Bologna, Italy from 20th to 30th June. Earlier also Swati Ghosh has been seen representing India in different countries during many art festivals. Along with the Minari group, other Italian artists were also involved in the Bologna exhibition.
She was also included in the World's 100 Women Artists, which on 2 July in New York City's Time Square, this historically significant event was displayed on a large big screen, which also featured Indian woman painter Swati Ghosh, who is one of many artists from India.
Swati Ghosh is an emerging name for Indian art. Swati Ghosh is a member of a group called Minari, and it is based in Europe. Artists from many countries are present in this group. The group has displayed their art together in several exhibitions in Europe.
Swati was born on 28 July 1983 in Jamshedpur city and completed her education from Kanpur. In 2014, Swati started taking private lessons from Indian fine arts teachers at her home in Kolkata. He received a Diploma in Drawing and Painting from the London Art College in 2018.
