Following the consecration of Ram Lalla, a special darshan campaign has been announced to accommodate devotees from India and abroad.
The campaign, set to commence on Republic Day, will extend until the end of February.
Plans are in motion to offer date-wise darshan to devotees from all Indian states, with states being invited to visit on designated dates. Additionally, arrangements are underway to provide date-wise darshan to Indians residing overseas.
Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust member Dr Anil Mishra revealed that the consecration ceremony for Ram Lalla would begin on January 16 and culminate with the consecration of the immovable idol on January 22.
On the day of Pran Pratishtha, a VIP protocol will be observed, leading to a temporary ban on common devotees’ darshan. To ensure that devotees from across India and abroad can have darshan of Ram Lalla, the Trust is actively working on a plan that allows different states and countries to schedule their visits.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad workers are reaching out to devotees from each state to coordinate their visits, taking into account their preferences. For instance, one day may be allocated for devotees from Gujarat, another for Maharashtra, followed by Rajasthan, Karnataka and Delhi.
Furthermore, efforts are in progress to facilitate darshan of Ram Lalla for devotees of Indian origin in countries where the VHP is active. This campaign is slated to commence during the second week of February.
In anticipation of a surge in devotees visiting Ayodhya for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla on January 22, an initiative has been launched to ensure that linguistic barriers do not hinder the experience of the pilgrims. Bharat Bharti, an organisation, has taken the lead in addressing this issue.
Partha Sarathi Mishra, the organisation’s head, emphasised that as devotees from various Indian states, particularly South India, are expected to participate, communication challenges may arise. To assist these devotees who may primarily speak languages other than Hindi, Bharat Bharti will provide ‘Bhasha Mitras’ (language friends) during their stay in Ayodhya.
Amit Kumar Singh, the Ayodhya chapter head of the organisation, confirmed that the language friends will be in constant communication with visitors from different provinces. They will assist in resolving any language-related problems promptly. A helpline number for Bhasha Mitra is also working to offer additional support for the visiting devotees.
This initiative aims to ensure that devotees visiting Ayodhya, irrespective of their linguistic backgrounds, have a seamless and enriching experience during this significant event.
