The NCC Cell of Central University of Jharkhand in collaboration with VK-AICYAM, Bhubaneswar organised a G-20 awareness workshop on Contribution towards G-20 Presidency in the guidance of 19 Jharkhand Battalion, Ranchi on Wednesday. The program was introduced by Dr. Rabindranath Sarma, Chairman, NCC Cell. He explained the objectives of the program and relevance in the present day.
Dr. J.N. Nayak, OSD (A &A), CUJ laid emphasis on "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam", and talked about the idea behind 'University Connect'. He also discussed global economic concerns, environmental issues, international trade and green energy. Sirag, the full time worker of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, beautifully introduced the foundation of the same and contributions it is making towards the nation building.
Chief guest of the program,. Laxminarayan Panigrahy, VK-AICYAM, Bhubaneshwar provided an insight into India's role on an international platform and how India performs its 2023 Presidency role differently. He talked about the efforts India did make in knowing the aspiration of countries who aren't the member of G20. He stated, "through G20, India will be prepared for the world forum and vice versa. Professor K. B. Panda, Registrar, CUJ in the presidential address discussed the role plays by the youth in nation building. He addressed students asking them to lead a disciplined life and be focused towards one's individual goals to be the global superpower. Dr. Vineet Kumar Agotiya, NCC Officer of Central University of Jharkhand delivered the vote of thanks.
