BJP's meeting program was organized today in Namkum under Ranchi Rural district, in which hundreds of people under the leadership of Namkum District Council member Ramavatar Kerketta and Khijri Gram Panchayat head Carmela Kachhap accepted the membership of BJP in front of the party's state president and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi.
On this occasion, BJP State General Secretary and Headquarters in-charge Dr. Pradeep Verma, MP Sanjay Seth, Mahila Morcha State President Aarti Kujur, former MLA Ramkumar Pahan, Rural District President Surendra Mahato and other party officials and workers were present.
Addressing the meeting program, State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said that India is moving on the path of progress under the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The respect of India has increased all over the world.
He said that while taking oath in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that his government will be dedicated to the development of villages, poor, farmers, tribals, Dalits and backward people, along with everyone. He said that the Modi government has been living up to its promises for nine and a half years. Therefore, public confidence in the Modi government is increasing.
He said that the Modi government increased the respect of poor sisters by providing toilets to the homes of the poor, taking the poor to the doorsteps of banks by linking them with Jan Dhan accounts, pucca houses, gas connections, tap water, all these became the identity of the poor homes. He said that Ayushman Yojana guaranteed treatment up to Rs 5 lakh. Also, 5 kg food grains per person did not let anyone sleep hungry. He said that PM Vishwakarma Yojana will strengthen the skilled traditional artisans of the village.
He said that BJP understands the public sentiments. For 50 years, the Congress party suppressed the separate state movement, weakened it and did its bidding, but the BJP government formed under the leadership of Atal Bihari Bajpayee made the dream of a separate Jharkhand state come true. He said that those who boast of development of tribal society are looting the tribals today. He said that the BJP government left no stone unturned in giving respect to the tribals.
Marandi said that Atal ji's government created tribal ministries, included Santhali tribal language in the 8th list. Today, for the first time in the Modi cabinet, there are 8 ministers from tribal communities. He said that today Draupadi Murmu, daughter of the tribal community, is adorning the post of the President of India. He said that the Modi government gave great respect to the martyr of Jharkhand by declaring the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda as National Tribal Pride Day. He said that BJP is dedicated to Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas.
Congratulating and best wishes to those who took membership of BJP, he called upon them to play an active role in nation building. He said that every BJP worker is determined to stand with the people and ensure victory of the NDA candidate on the 14 Lok Sabha seats of the state and also to form a strong government under the leadership of BJP in the state.
