Amid anticipation for holding early elections in Odisha, the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Monday appointed its observers for all 30 districts.
As per the list, BJD’s organisational secretary and Jajpur MLA Pranab Prakash Das has been made observer for as many as four districts while controversial MLA Dibya Shankar Mishra has been appointed as the observer for two districts.
Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak has been given the charge as observer for two districts.
Pranab Prakash Das has been assigned the districts of Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Sambalpur. Dibya Shankar is put in charge of Koraput and Malkangiri and Atanu in charge of Gajapati and Rayagada.
