As the festival of colours, Holi approaches Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association held its monthly cultural event under the banner of Udbhav Sahityak Manch. The event was chaired by noted author and litterateur, Acharya Jagadish Tomar while noted poet and educator,
Bhagawan Swarup Chaitanya graced the occasion as Chief Guest.
Speaking on the occasion, president of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association, Keshav Pandey said that along with its other activities Udbhav will hold regular cultural events that will highlight the rich cultural heritage of Gwalior through presentations and concerts like dance, poetry sessions and screening of movies.
Addressing the gathering Acharya Jagadish Tomar said that Gwalior is a key centre of culture, music and history and opined that it is important to nurture and enhance this rich heritage. He praised the services of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association in promoting the culture of Gwalior.
Nayan Kishore Srivastava, Sarita Chauhan, Aditay Ashundar and Pradeep Pushpendra recited poems showcasing the culture of Gwalior.
Keshav Pandey and Deepak Tomar, secretary of Udbhav Sports and Cultural Association presented shawls to Acharya Jagadish Tomar and Bhagawan Swarup Chaitanya. The cultural event was conducted by Surendra Pal Singh while Deepak Tomar presented the vote of thanks. The event was also attended by Rajini Tomar, Rajendra Mudugal, Inder Singh Kushwaha, Aravind and Suresh Verma among others.
