Finally, the Tiger which created panic in Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) campus got trapped in a cage, he was lured by a goat inside the cage.
A tiger trapped in a cage is about two and a half years old, but in stature, he looks like an adult tiger. It is called the T-21 tiger. After tranquilizing it has been sent to Satpura Tiger Reserve.
Even the MANIT management had to schedule student holidays ahead of time. He had attacked 6 cows till now. Out of which 4 had died. Tiger had eaten them too.
DFO Alok Pathak said that the goat was tied in the cage to lure the tiger. In the night he came to hunt the goat and got trapped in the cage. After making him unconscious on Sunday morning, he was sent to Satpura Tiger Reserve. He is about two and a half years old. However, the height and weight are good. Tiger has been given a radio collar.
Tiger Trap was caught on cameras on the sixth day after the movement was visible in Manit. Earlier officials had speculated that the tiger roaming around in Manit was probably one of the two cubs of Tigress-123, which was spotted near Valmi a few days ago.

Tiger was seen by three students walking on a bike. After this, Tiger Trap was caught on cameras 6 days later. He had more movement in the forest area of Manit, but he was also seen in the residential area. After this, he was also caught in cameras near the culvert and the pond.
