Preparations on war footings for Ijtema at Eintkhedi from November 18 to 21

Alami Tablighi Ijtema (International Islamic congregation) is going to be held in Eintkhedi from  November 18 to 21 and in view of the large number of people in Bhopal for three days, Bhopal Railway Division has also started preparations.

On the instructions of DRM Saurabh Bandopadhyay, special counters will be set up at Bhopal station on November 21 and 22. One additional booking counter each will be opened on platform number 1 and 6.

Along with this, a special counter will be opened separately for the devotees at the Bhopal Railway Reservation Office.

Apart from this, announcements and providing information about trains and cleanliness will be ensured at Bhopal station and platforms. Railway Protection Force and Government Railway Police (GRP) will be specially deployed for security arrangements.

After two years in the capital Bhopal, Ijtima will be held on Ghasipura Islam Nagar, Eithkhedi Berasia Road, it will involve a large number of people and traffic jams would be witnessed due to which Collector Avinash Lavania has prohibited setting up of temporary shops around Ijtima road and on the roadside under section 144.

Shops can be set up only with the permission of SDM. No temporary shops will be set up within the radius of 50 meters of the routes and surrounding areas of the Ijtima site.

Order will not be applicable to government agencies, Municipal Corporation Bhopal, Municipality and other such agencies which are carrying out work or construction of any government department. The concerned SDM and police officers will tour their respective areas continuously.

During the event, the people of the Muslim community arrive at the city and the venue. Jamaats (religious groups) of Muslim community from different cities, states and other places are also involved in Ijtima.
