Dhanbad District administration has chalked out an elaborate plan for safety during the Durga Puja so that pandal hoppers face minimum problems .
An elaborate traffic plan with banning the movement of heavy traffic vehicles has been announced after holding meeting of different stakeholders including the Durga Puja committees .
While the Durga puja committees have been directed to install fire safety equipements they also have been directed to install CCTV as part of secueity measure, said Deputy commissioner Sandeep Singh .
SSP Sanjeev Kumar said that all puja committees have been directed to complete visarjan by October 7 on the given route .
Committees have been asked to be vigilant against any rumers spread on social media and to deploy volunteers for security reasons.
Traffic would be diverted at different locations so that pandal hoppers got enough space for visiting pandals.
Jaideo Gupta president of Purana Bazar Durga Puja committee said that this puja huge turnout of devotees is expected as puja is being organised on full scale after Corona period . Additional arrangements are being done by committee for devotee smooth visit to theam based pandals that have been allowed after a gap of two years , said Gupta.
