The cybercrime team arrested accused who made the personal photo of a minor girl viral by making a fake ID on Instagram in the state capital.
The accused became the girl's friend over social media and took personal photos. The girl was repeatedly asked by the accused to make personal photo and video calls. The girl told this to her family members and refused to call.
After that the accused made a fake Instagram ID using the name and photo of the girl. On fake ID, the personal photos of the girl child were viral and sent to her family members.
A complaint was made and a team of Cyber crime Bhopal narrowed on the accused who made fake IDs on Instagram and recovered SIM and mobile used in it, accused identified as Sanjay Singh was arrested.
On April 13 a complaint was given by the applicant that victim is being harassed by some unknown person, on which the police took quick action after getting the information of the accused.
A case under sections 354 and 507 of the IPC and section 67 IT Act and sections 11 and 12 of the POCSO Act were registered and a team was formed and the accused was arrested.
The accused Sanjay Singh of Moradabad UP had a friendship with the girl through Snapchat, after that both of them started talking on the phone.
The accused was repeatedly asked to make private photo and video calls, due to which the girl was upset and told this to her uncle, after that the accused made a fake Instagram ID of the girl's name and made the girl's personal o and video viral on social media.
