Touring the Kabirdham assembly segment on Monday, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel opened a bridge on Sakri river.
The bridge on National Highway 30 will link the town to Jabalpur and Mandla cities of Madhya Pradesh and also with neighbouring districts of Bemetara, Mungeli and Bilaspur.
Dedicating the bridge built for Rs 9.10 crore, Baghel said it will add a new chapter of development.
Health Minister T.S. Singh Deo and Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar accompanied Baghel.
The Chief Minister also announced the construction of a bridge over Fok river in Kusumaghata.
He said Swami Atmanand Schools will open in Chilfi, Rengakhar and Podi.
