An eye of a 7-year-old girl sustained severe injury after a a stray dog attacked her, head injury was sustained in the attack after she was attacked at Banskhedi in the evening on Wednesday.

The girl's condition is serious. The girl has been referred to Hamidia Hospital. This heart-wrenching incident is of Banskheri located on Kolar Road on Wednesday evening.

The same dog had also bitten victim’s the elder sister two days ago. This is the third major incident of dog attack in eight months. The incident has exposed the claims of those responsible to curb the population of stray dogs.

Suhani, the 7-year-old daughter of Shivkumar Kushwaha, who lives in Banskheri, was passing near the house in the evening. During this, a dog attacked him. Before the people around could save her, the dog injured her severely.

Somehow, after rescuing the girl from the dog, people reached JK Hospital, but due to not being admitted here, the family members kept wandering and later she was admitted in Hamidia hospital.

Municipal Corporation Commissioner KVS Chaudhary said in this matter that information has been received now. Continuous action is being taken regarding dogs. Action will be taken again.

Suhani's elder sister, 11-year-old Sohna, was also attacked by a dog two days ago. Sohna was also injured by this. Two days later, Suhani was now attacked by a dog.

There are many herds of dogs in the surrounding area including Banskheri, which run to bite the passers-by and the people living here. From Sarvadharma to Bairagarh Chinchali on Kolar Road, many passers-by have also become victims of accidents. Despite this, no major action was taken to catch the dogs.
