After the acquisition of Nesco by the Tata Power, rules and procedures are not respected and the company is behaving very arrogantly. Sources revealed that one Rajendra Kumar Sahu of Keonjhar town had moved to Public Redressal Grievances Forum against arbitrarily excess electric bill imposed by the then Nesco company.
The court after taking into congnizance of the matter fixed a date on 28/04/2021 for hearing of the case No. C - 32/2021. As the SDO gave the prior information of his inability to end the court, the court fixed another date.
However , on Monday , Tata Power official Pramod Kumar Nayak who is the opposite party in the above case demanded to clear all the dues from the complainant.
When Sahu, the complainant, said the matter is in the court of law and he cannot oblige their request, his line was discontinued and the entire family is in miserable condition. As per provisions of the law ,it requires that before disconnecting , the electricity company should have given the prior notice to the consumer. But here the company did not follow the procedure.
