The Special Investigating Team has started the forensic examination of such cylinders, which were recovered after lodging an FIR by HMCH management on Wednesday. Hazaribag SP has written a letter to all the police stations to enquire whether the cylinders reached community health centers or not. The Hazaribag deputy commissioner has ordered to start the verification of medicines along with remdesivir injection.
The investigating team came to know whether the cylinders which were recovered and kept in the store of HMCH belonged to the hospital or not. The team had called the store keeper to bring all cylinders which were recovered by the hospital management.
The team will examine whether the recovered cylinders need repunching or not. They will also come to know that someone tried to change or scratch the numbers on cylinders. The forensic team will examine all the facts during the investigation.
Hazaribag Superintendent of Police Kartik S has written a letter to all the police stations of the district that the block level health centers received the cylinders from the store of HMCH, which was not recorded in health centers as well as in HMCH stores.
He further said in the letter that the block level medical officers have provided the cylinders to the HMCH or not. If they have received it, then the proof must be sent to the office. This action of SP created an upheaval in the block level hospitals.
On the other hand Hazaribag deputy commissioner Aditya Kumar Anand has constituted a team in the leadership of sadar SDO Vidya Bhushan Kumar for the verification of receiving and issuing the medicine from the store during the COVID-19 period of first and second phase. He said to the team to thoroughly verify the remdesivir injection.
The CPM district secretary Ganesh Kumar Citu has demanded that the area of investigation must cover each and every aspect and also investigate the outsourcing company Solanki’s working style..
