Senior IAS officer Sanjay Goel on Friday assumed the charges of the commissioner of the North Delhi Municipal Corporation.
Goel, an IAS officer of the Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram Union Territory (AGMUT) cadre, belonged to the 2004 batch. Goyal took charge of the post of Commissioner North DMC from Gyanesh Bharti (IAS 1998 AGMUT Cadre), Commissioner of South Delhi Municipal Corporation from who held the additional charge of the post.
