RSCC woos investors for Smart City Project

Ranchi Smart City Corporation (RSCC) CEO cum State Urban Development Agency Director Amit Kumar said that the development of the Ranchi Smart City should be in accordance with public aspirations and that it is the priority of the State Government and Ranchi Smart City Corporation.

“In this regard, the process of land auction in ABD area has been made completely online and contactless. It is also our priority to provide quality resources and lifestyle to the people of Ranchi. It is also important that big companies engaged in building the country’s infrastructure should invest in Ranchi Smart City,” said Kumar at the Swarnrekha Summit 2021 cum Investor Meet organised by RSCC in the National capital on Wednesday, while addressing investors in the auction process started for the allocation of plots in Ranchi Smart City.

Assuring potential investors, Kumar said. “You should invest in Jharkhand while the State Government and RSCC will work to facilitate you. A single window system has been created by the Government for online building plans and other clearances. Out of 100 smart cities in the country, Ranchi is the second city to be developed as a green field and your participation is necessary. We are developing world class infrastructure.”

Swarnrekha Summit 2021 was organised in New Delhi to invite more and more investors in the land e-auction process started by Ranchi Smart City. Conducted in three sessions, the Summit was attended by representatives of companies related to real estate, education and health sector working in various parts of the country including Delhi- NCR.

Through the summit, representatives were informed about the concept of Ranchi Smart City and development of infrastructure while possibilities available to investors were also discussed. Representatives from various companies have shown interest in the Smart City ABD project and also assured investment.

During the programme, RSCC General Manager Rakesh Kumar Nandkeolyar through a powerpoint presentation presented the background and nature of smart city to the investors and also briefed about the e-auction process.

CEO’s, presidents, vice presidents and directors of companies like Ansal API Group, Parasnath Developer, Sanjay Nagpal Estate, National Association of Realtor and VSPL Energy Private Limited among others participated in the programme.
