The chief ministerial candidate of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Ajay Kothiyal said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit has made it clear that his party truly has no vision for Uttarakhand. He said that Gandhi did not make even a single announcement for people or for ex-servicemen in his speech. He said that Congress has been a dead opposition for about five years as it failed to raise any significant issues of the public. He added, “December 16 is considered a golden day for the Indian army. It would have been great if Congress could have honoured the soldiers of the Battle of Hilli who showed their valour in the battle fought in Bangladesh in 1971 but they failed in this too.”
