Under the series of Amrit Mahotsav and Chauri-Chaura Centenary Celebrations of Independence, the birth anniversary of Pt Govind Ballabh Pant will be celebrated on September 10 in every district.
A government spokesman said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath would pay homage to Pt Govind Ballabh Pant by attending a wreath-laying programme organised at Lok Bhawan Auditorium.
In this regard, all the divisional commissioners and district magistrates have been directed by the chief secretary to organise a wreath-laying programme at the statue or photograph of Pt Govind Ballabh Pant. In all educational institutions, students should be made aware of the personality and work of Pt. Govind Ballabh Pant and his contribution towards the nation, the directive said.
On the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Pandit Govind Ballabh Pant, live telecast of the main programme organised at Lok Bhawan, Lucknow will be made on YouTube channel UPGovtOfficial and Facebook page CMO Uttar Pradesh.
Broadcast of this program will also be shown in educational institutions.
