C’garh to start emergency care technician course

Keeping in view the need for trained healthcare workers to battle Covid-19, the Chhattisgarh government on Wednesday approved a new course of Emergency Care Technician.

Sources in the Health Department said the certificate course will be of for one year duration and will help meet the demand for trained emergency healthcare staff.

The essential qualification for the course will be Higher Secondary pass with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.  

The course will induct training in x-ray, pathology and paramedical technician.

The Department of Medical Education had approved the courses to be run in medical colleges of Raipur, Bilaspur, Jagdalpur, Raigarh, Rajnandgaon and Ambikapur.
