In support of police personnel working on the front lines of the coronavirus outbreak, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals CSR wing Glenmark Foundation has tied up with NGO RISE Infinity Foundation to distribute Candid dusting powder samples and alleviate common skin conditions.
Additional Commissioner of Police Anup Kumar Sahoo on Thursdayreceived Candid dusting powder tubes for use of the Commissionerate police personnel. .
The powder reduces the chances of fungal infections of skin and keeps common skin issues such as itching and irritation at bay.
Over the years, Candid has rapidly gained the trust of doctors and is the one of the leading prescribed brand in its segment.
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals senior vice president Neeraj Joshi said, “Thepolice are the lifeline in ensuring discipline. Now, their service hasbeen extended to healthcare discipline. Police authorities workingtirelessly on the frontlines of this pandemic often have to pull offlong shift hours, and the heat and humidity of summer months can be anadded challenge.
Through this multi-city intervention, Glenmark expresses its supportand appreciation for the country’s civil authorities, by addressingtheir immediate skin health needs, Joshi added.
