Validation ceremony of two days National Seminar on ‘Gender Mainstreaming in Water Resources Management in India’ organised on Saturday. This Seminar was organized by Centre for Resources Development Studies, Bhopal in association with Environment Planning and Coordination Organization (EPCO), Bhopal and Regional Museum of Natural History, Bhopal.
During the first session of second day, Anita Dubey, Govt Maharani Laxmi Bai College, Bhopal detailed about the ‘cost effective way of raising awareness and skills among men and women for safe sanitation and hygiene practices within the households’.
SP Singh, Professor from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal was the Chair Person and Asha Khanna, Professor from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal was the Co-chair of the session.
Similarly next session, Anupama Rawat from Ambedkar University, Mahu presented his paper on ‘Water Resources: conflicts and emergency situation’. ML Gupta, Ex-member Secretary, MP Pollution Control Board was the Chair Person and Om Shanker Shrivastava, Legal Advisor, Environmental Law was the Co-chair of the session.
During the Valedictory session, Scientist-in-Charge of the museum Manoj Kumar Sharma, Anupama Rawat from Ambedkar University, Mahu, President of CRDS, Bhopal Neeta Singh distributed the participation certificates to the participants of the seminar.
