A massive fire broke out at Mansarovar Complex in Habibganj after the electricity cables caught fire due which fire broke in the garbage late in the afternoon.
Soon after the fire broke shopkeepers and people in the complex were evacuated and panic prevailed at around 5 pm when the fire started to spread.
In the fire no one was injured and no casualty was reported. The fire tender vehicles managed to control and pacify the fire before it could spread and cause severe damage.
Fire officials said that the fire broke in the garbage on the backside of the complex and soon spread to the cables which later entered the complex premises and blocked one of the stair cases.
In the fire shops and offices at the complex were not affected. The cables at one of the stair cases were also engulfed in fire and later pacified by the fire tenders.
The security guard of the complex informed the fire brigade regarding the fire. More than half a dozen fire tender vehicles were took around one hour to pacify the fire.
The fire brigade was informed and fire tender vehicles were rushed to the rescue. The fire broke at first floor but it was pacified before it could spread to the upper floors.
The complex had witnessed massive fire in the year 2017 and at that time nothing regarding the handling of emergency situation of fire were present which caused massive loss.
