The second edition of a three-day Odisha Travel Bazaar organised by the Tourism Department and the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) would be inaugurated by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik here on October 5, informed Tourism Secretary Vishal Kumar Dev at Press meet held here on Thursday.
Dev said as many as 60 Foreign Tour Operators (FTOs) from 23 countries and 16 Domestic Tour Operators (DTOs) would congregate to interact and would engage themselves with 56 sellers comprising of travel agencies and hoteliers from Odisha to showcase and sell the Odisha travel product internationally and within the country.
He also said as many as 357 tourist destinations have been identified all over 30 districts including sanctuaries and wildlife parks like Bhitarkanika, Similipal National Park, Chandaka Elephant Reserve, Nandankanan and Chilika Lake, which are major natural tourist attraction in the State.
A special panel discussion on “Taking Odisha Tourism to the next level” would be held along with a presentation on ‘Odisha Tourism’ by Department Director Archana Patnaik.
