NBCC WINS D&B's TOP PSU AWARD

NBCC (India) ltd. has bagged prestigious Dun & Bradstreet (D&B) PSU Award 2018 under the category "Contract, Construction & Technical Consultancy Services". The award was given away by Bibek Debroy, Chairman, Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister and Member, NITI Aayog, Government of India. Rajendra Chaudhari, Director (Commercial) received the award on behalf of NBCC.

BSES gets Asian Innovators award

BSES Yamuna Power limited (BYPl) has received the prestigious global Asian Innovators Award 2018 in the category ‘Best Customer Experience’. The award was presented to the discom during the Asian Utility Week, organised in Bangkok, Thailand, recently. This was the first time; this category was introduced at the event, which saw participation from over 560organisations across 43 countries.

Gail announces 23% pat growth in q1

GAIl (India) limited registered a 23% increase in Profit after Tax (PAT) in the first quarter of FY 2018-19, as against the last quarter of FY 2017-18 by Gas Trading and Petrochemicals Segments. The Company’s PAT for the quarter ending 30th June 2018 was Rs 1,259 crore as compared to Rs 1,021 crore in Q4 FY 2017-18. On year on year basis, GAIl’s PAT of Rs 1,259 crore in Q1 FY19 registered a growth of 23% against Profit of Rs 1,026 crore in corresponding quarter of FY 2017-18.

The CTiP system installed in CNP is a very advanced machine with a state of the art technology, which will cater to the needs of Govt.

Anil Mukim, Secretary Mines reviews auctioning

Anil Mukim, Secretary to the Govt. of India, Ministry of Mines had a review meeting with R.K. Sharma, Addl. Chief Secretary, Ministry of Mines, Govt. of Odisha, Tapan Kumar Chand, CMD, NAlCO, other officials of State Govt., Central PSUs, IBM, GSI and others. In the meeting issues relating to auctioning of mines, environment forest clearances, ease of doing business in mining sector were discussed.

Financial Protection against Cancer by lIC of India

lIC launched a regular premium payment health insurance plan which provides financial protection in case the life Assured is diagnosed with any of the specified Early and / or Major Stage Cancer during the policy term.  The policy can be purchased offline as well as online.  It offers two benefit options i.e. (i) level Sum Insured - it would remain unchanged throughout the policy term; and (ii) Increasing Sum Insured - It would increase by 10% of Basic Sum Insured each year for the first five years.
