Chief Minister Raghubar Das conducted a meeting with CMD of Hindustan Copper limited, Santosh Sharma, on Monday. He said that areas near Hindustan Copper limited mines should be made ODF. Half of the fund from CSR should be spent for this particular purpose and there should be a signboard outside the village stating about the same. With the help of administration, fund should be directly given to the beneficiaries for making lavatories.
The Chief Minister said that locals should be trained in different skill development courses for linking them with employment. land should be provided for Hindustan Copper’s crossing plant. Company’s CMD Santosh Sharma said that crossing plant near Rakha or Sisedar 0Chapri will start before April 2018. In the beginning, it will generate direct employment up to 2000 and later it will escalate up to 5000. Apart from this, there will be an opportunity for indirect employment too. This plant will be of three million ton capacity.
MP Vidyutvaran Mahto, Chief Secretary Rajbala verma, Principal Secretary of Chief Minister Sanjay Kumar and Principal Secretary of Home Department SKG Rahate were present in the meeting.
