The Bagh Print art of Madhya Pradesh that has made a name in the world has now become popular in China. The Bagh Print has been displayed for the second time in China. A national award winner for Bagh Print of Madhya Pradesh, Mohammed Bilal Khatri gave a live display of the traditional adivasi Bagh Print handicraft in the International Folk Culture Tourism Product Expo- 2017 in China (Guizhuo).
About 50 countries of the world participated in the expo in Guiyang city of Guizhuo province of China. Bagh Printer Khatri had designed modern and traditional attires keeping in mind the geographical and cultural conditions of China. These dresses were presented to the people in China in a traditional remix of their modern dress with Indian form. Bagh Print pieces were appreciated by the people of China.
lauding the Bagh Print Folk Expo Director Sushri Sun Yuki said that the Bagh Print artists will be given more opportunities. Mohammed Bilal Khatri has given a memorable presentation at World Crafts Council’s 50th Golden Jubilee Celebration Summit and Exhibition-2014 at Dongyang in China.
He also gave master classes training of Bagh Print art to students of fine arts from Moscow State University for the Humanities in Russia, and the third International Ethnomir Espo-2014 in Kaluga village of Russia. He has given live display of his art in several metro cities of the country apart from Samurgh International Handicrafts Exhibition – 2016 in Isfahan in Iran, Bahrain Festival of India-2012, India Show 2014 in Moscow, 2014 and Bagh Print art master classes 2014 in Russia’s St Petersberg State Academy of Art and Design College and University.
