In today’s world a man identifies himself with his caste, sect, language, region or religion but human’s true identity is his humanity rather than anything else.
A human is incomplete sans humanity. In fact, without humanity human’s life is a waste and can be termed as a burden on earth. These thoughts were expressed by Nirankari Saint Inderjeet Sharma in a special spiritual congregation at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan near lily Complex square on Sundayl.
Saint Sharma while quoting present Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev’s recent discourse delivered at Mumbai Samagam, said that Nirankari mission aims at removing distance between man and man.
The mission envisions “A world without walls” and is working on it. We all know that Satguru Baba Hardev Singh ji Maharaj worked tirelessly in his life to establish ONENESS in this world. If we want to contribute something to realise his dream, we should begin from our home. Oneness will begin from home and then only we can foresee it in society and the world.
Mutual respect and sweet language are the essence of oneness at home. A flute’s melody in a hut makes hut a paradise and a flute’s melody in a palace makes the palace a paradise.
Saint Sharma explained that what is meant by a flute’s melody are sweet polite words. With sweetness our home becomes a paradise. He reasoned that for the lack of mutual respect and the art of speaking sweet, homes are unable to survive.
Addressing specifically to the youth and children, Saint Sharma stressed upon the need to pay respect to their parents. He said that almost all Holy Scriptures direct us to respect our parents and teachers. He also quoted Prophet Mohammad Sahab saying that paradise lies beneath the feets of one’s mother.
