To take stock of upkeep of passenger amenities, Chief Commercial Manager (CCM) of South East Central Railway (SECR) Shivraj Singh on Thursday carried out inspection at the Raipur Railway station.
On the occasion, Singh was accompanied by Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Raipur division R Sudarshan, Divisional Commercial Manager M A Ansari, Chief Station Manager B V T Rao and others.
During the course of inspection, he visited the station’s canteen and tasted food being served to check its quality, said Public Relations Officer of Raipur division Ratan Basak, adding that the officer has imposed fine of Rs 4000 on a stall (C-5) of Sun Shine while checking license and cautioned them to undertake necessary improvement within one month.
Meanwhile, he also reviewed the security arrangements at the station by visiting CCTV Monitor Room, Basak said.
He further informed that the officer also carried out inspection at parcel office and platform number-2, 3, 4 and 5. Impressed by the cleanliness and other arrangements at the Railway station, Singh awarded CSM B V T Rao with cash of Rs3000.
