In a major move, the Auqaf-e-Shahi announced here on Thursday that it has purchased a new building in Makkah Mukarramah for Bhopal Rubat.
The new building has been purchased at a cost of Saudi Riyals 18.5 million and is in the name of Auqaf Bhopal and not in the name of any individual. located at Al Nuzha area of Makkah Mukarramah, the building is 7 storied and also has a few shops.
Within a short span of time under the incomparable guidance and focused leadership of Saba Sultan, Mutawalli, Auqaf-e-Shahi has been able to acquire two buildings at Makkah Mukarramah from the compensation funds lying with the Qazi of Makkah Mukarramah for the last 15 years. The last building was purchased in 2015 which will be housing the Hajis from Bhopal for this year’s Haj.
Since Saba Sultan became the Mutawalli of Auqaf-e-Shahi, she has taken great interest in the development and progress of Auqaf-e-Shahi and a constant effort is witnessed from her side to improve the facilities for the Hajis at Makkah Mukarramah and Madinah Munawwarah. She has been ably guided by her team comprising of Sikandar Hafiz Khan and others which has been working relentlessly to put her and late Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi’s vision into action
