Fraud case against Doosan Infracore

A case of fraud was reported against Doosan Infracore by city based Omega Industries for duping to the tune of Rs 1.94 crore; machine was never returned after it was sent for repair and no refund was made by Doosan Infracore company.

The complainant Hari Prasad of Omega Industries lodged a complaint against Dooshan Infracore Company for not delivering machinery which faced problems and was sent back to the company but never received by the complainant.

The victim contacted the Bangalore office of the company where the managing director of the company provided him details and later the machine was delivered but soon it faced problem and was sent back for fixing the problem but the victim never received the machine and no refund was paid to him.

After failing to get any response in terms of replaced machine or refund the victim lodged a complaint with the Piplani police around a month ago and in the initial investigation the police found that the claims made by the victim were true and based on the complaint the police have registered a case under section 406 and 420 of the IPC and have started further investigation.

The complainant owns Omega Company which is situated in Govindpura Industrial Area while the company which provided the machine is a South Korea based Doosan Infracore Company and the deal was done through its representatives based in Bangalore.

The investigation is on and the company officials would be contacted claimed the police.
