Sadar Manzil is a beautifully carved building and art work done to adorn the building is marvellous, said Bhopal Divisional Commissioner SB Singh during his visit to the important archaeological heritage building of the city and inspection of the restoration and renovation work. During his visit the to Sadar Manzil, Bhopal Divisional Commissioner had declared discussions regarding the historical structure with Municipal Commissioner Tejaswi S Naik and other officials.
Darbar hall, main gate, premises, rooms at the basement and offices at the first floor and second floor of Sadar Manzil were inspected. Singh praised the art work which has given the building a unique identity. The work of art on walls and ceiling is beautiful and attractive. He added that the city has precious heritage structures which have to be preserved and restoration of these structures is required which is under process at several places and would be done for the remaining structures soon to maintain the rich heritage value of State capital.
He also inspected the restoration work of Hameed Manzil which is going on for the past 8 months was inspected along with the ‘Hamaam’. The slow pace of Taj Mahal displeased Singh and he expressed displeasure on the work and at the same time instructed to speed up the work. Benazir building premises and the garden was also inspected. Additional Commissioner Chandramauli Shukla and GP Mali were present during the visit.
