Brajrajnagar BJP MlA Radharani Panda on Thursday lodged an FIR in the Brajrajnagar police station alleging that some miscreants had threatened to kill her on Wednesday.She too alleged that some youths named Amit Singh, Harpal Singh and Jayesh and a brother of BJP youth leader Sujeet Singh ransacked her party office in Brajrajnagar on Wednesday.
Sujeet’s brother scolded her with obscene language and threatened of dire consequences. later, she received a telephone call which threatened to kill her with a pistol, the MlA alleged.MlA Panda and Jharsuguda MlA Naba Kishore Das met SP US Dash on Thursday in his office and demanded stringent action against the miscreants.
MlA Panda informed all these at a Press meet here on Friday.About kidnapping allegation made by Surjit against her, she said on the day of incidence she was at the Executive Engineer Office of Rural Development, Jharsuguda and her husband Sudhansu Purohit, a lawyer, was at court. Hence, the allegation made against them not true, she said.
She said BJP Youth State coordinator Sujit has more than eight cases against him. He is misleading the police and local BJP leadership and she has already apprised senior party leaderships about this incidence.When contacted, Brajrajnagar PS IIC Akash Sahu said, “We have registered a case on the FIR lodged by MlA Radharani Panda and started investigation into the matter.”
