Abigail Jain returns on small screen with Yeh Hai Aashiqui

After being appreciated for her woman-centric roles in various daily soaps, the bubbly and chubby girl next door Abigail Jain returns again on the small screen as she makes yet another appearance in Yeh Hai Aashiqui.

Abigail Jain started off her career with the serial ‘Kya Dill Mein Hai’ under Balaji Productions when she was just 15, then there was never turning back for her. She then made a way for herself in popular shows like Humse Hai life, Gumrah, Halla Bol, Maharakshak Aryan.

Talking exclusively with The Pioneer, Abigail shared about her journey in television industry and how the showbiz has become a part of her life. Now 22 year old Abigail sees life with a difference and with much confidence.

 “Well it all happened by chance, as I never thought to be an actress, you may call it luck as I got a major break in television industry with Balaji Productions,” says Abigail excitedly.

Abigail has portrayed woman in its many forms. She has been a young, an intelligent girl, a wife, a boxer or may be a cute just a friend. Abigail has been persistent towards all the roles she has done till now. Now she makes a re-appearance in Yeh Hai Aashiqui, a television series that tells unique love stories aired on Bindaas channel. “I have always loved the concept of Yeh Hai Aashiqui as it showcases rare and unique love stories,” says Abigail.

In this upcoming episode Abigail is playing a role of a pampered, happy-go-lucky and cheerful girl Shikha. While sharing about her role in the series she says, “I am playing a role of a young girl Shikha who lives on her principles, takes up challenges and is very cheerful and pampered girl. The story then follows when she falls in love and how she tackles with difficult situations that come in her way.” Elaborating further, she said, “No love story is easy, if it becomes easy to find and meet your love then no love story would have been turned out to be a saga.”

When asked about how far she believes in ‘true’ love she laughed and said, “Till now I have not experienced this feeling, let’s see what happens in future.” She also talked about her dream role and entry into Bollywood. “Well there’s no such dream role for me as I take up every role as my dream role and try to portray every character with persistent. As far as Bollywood entry is concerned I would love to enter the industry but I think everything happens at its correct time. So I am also looking forward for it.” On her visit to Bhopal she said, “It was a short visit but yes I would love to visit the city once again.”

Abigail signed off saying, “After experiencing various phases of life as I stepped into this career, I became more confident and enthusiastic as I was not like this before.”
