Raju's wife, sons sentenced in IT evasion case

Past came back to haunt the family of Satyam Computers founder B Ramalinga Raju as a court in Hyderabad on Thursday convicted 84 directors of his various other companies including his wife and sons in income tax evasion case.

The court found Ramalinga Raju’s wife Nandini, two sons Rama Raju and Teja Raju, sister in law Radha and 80 other directors of 19 associated companies of erstwhile Satyam Computers.

The court sentenced women accused to six months imprisonment and imposed a fine of `5,000. Quantum of sentence and fine was double for the male accused of the case.
