VIPS-TC hosts symposium for Viksit Bharat 2047

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies – Technical Campus (VIPS-TC), affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, hosted a symposium under the ‘Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect’ programme on 12 March.
The event, held at the institute’s Pitampura campus, sought to align the student body with the Government of India’s ambitious vision for a developed nation by 2047.
The ‘Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect’ is a flagship initiative launched by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, designed to galvanise the youth towards national development.
Beyond promoting the vision for 2047, the symposium also marked the 150th anniversary of the national song, Vande Mataram.
Addressing the gathering, Youth Icon Mahendra Singh emphasised the pivotal role young citizens must play in the nation-building process.
He urged the students to focus on innovation, cultivate responsible citizenship, and engage actively in the country’s social and economic growth.
A highlight of the proceedings was the ‘Yuva Samvad’ session, an interactive forum that allowed students to voice their perspectives. The session saw vibrant discussions on the country’s future trajectory, providing a platform for young minds to engage directly with the roadmap for a developed India.
