Two Bangladeshi nationals apprehended

The Foreigner Cell of the North West District Police apprehended two Bangladeshi nationals residing illegally in Delhi. One, aged 25, had previously been deported from India and is accused of re-entering the country without authorisation.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Akanksha Yadav stated that the operation occurred on the morning of June 25 in the N.S. Mandi area of Azadpur, under the Mahendra Park Police Station. The action was based on specific intelligence regarding the presence of Bangladeshi nationals in the district.
Police identified the apprehended individuals as MD Ruhul Amin alias Tuli Das, 25, from Madhupur in Tangail district, and MD Jibon Miah alias Lily, 36, from Brahmanbaria district, both in Bangladesh.
Police said MD Ruhul Amin was previously apprehended by the Foreigners’ Cell in June 2025 and deported from India. He is accused of re-entering the country illegally and was traced again in the Mahendra Park area.
A team led by Inspector Vipin Kumar of the Foreigner Cell, under the supervision of ACP Rajeev Dhaka, was formed to act on the intelligence. The team conducted surveillance in the area and apprehended the two Bangladeshi nationals.
Police stated that both men had been residing in North-West Delhi without valid travel documents.
