IYC demands Amit Shah’s resignation

Indian Youth Congress (IYC) National President Uday Bhanu Chib led a protest march in Rampur on Tuesday, demanding the resignation of Amit Shah, under the Chhatron Ki Goonj program.

Speaking on the occasion, IYC National President Uday Bhanu Chib stated that Home Minister Amit Shah must appear in the Lok Sabha and answer for the brutality inflicted upon students; this demand is not merely that of the opposition but of the entire nation. He must answer why such cruelty was unleashed against students.

Since the use of pellet guns and lethal force against students occurred under the Home Minister’s orders, accountability must be fixed; conversely, if it happened without his knowledge, it raises serious questions regarding the country’s internal security apparatus.

Uday Bhanu Chib further affirmed that they would ensure justice for the nation’s students and continue fighting for their cause.

Echoing the sentiments of the Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi, he emphasised that those who attacked the students must be punished, and accountability must be established. IYC National Secretary Vishal Chaudhary, Western Uttar Pradesh State President Paras Shukla, and numerous Youth Congress workers participated in the march.
