GDA vice chairman inspects RDC area

The vice chairman of the Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA), accompanied by the secretary, GDA, the Special Duty Officer, and the engineering team, conducted a detailed on-site inspection of the Raj Nagar District Centre (RDC) area on Tuesday.

The purpose of the inspection was to assess the growing issues of traffic congestion, unorganised parking, encroachments, sanitation, street lighting, and other civic amenities, and to issue necessary directions for their effective and long-term resolution. During the inspection, the vice chairman closely reviewed the persistent traffic congestion and unorganised parking situation in the RDC area. He observed that haphazard parking, vehicles stationed along roadsides, and unregulated activities were causing frequent traffic disruptions, resulting in inconvenience to residents, visitors, and the business community.

He directed the concerned officials to comprehensively reorganise the parking system by ensuring scientific and optimal utilisation of available space.

Concluding the inspection, the vice chairman directed the secretary and other concerned officials to prepare a comprehensive action plan covering all identified issues in the RDC area within one week and to initiate effective implementation immediately thereafter.
