Bandhan Bank Q1: Business grows 11% in FY26-27

Bandhan Bank reported a strong performance for the first quarter of FY26–27, with its total business growing 11% year-on-year to over Rs 3.2 lakh crore. The Bank’s total advances increased 16% to Rs 1.56 lakh crore, while total deposits rose 7% to Rs 1.65 lakh crore. Retail deposits accounted for nearly 74% of total deposits, and the CASA ratio stood at 29.4%. The Bank reported a net profit of Rs 502 crore for the quarter and maintained a strong Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of 18.2%.
Bandhan Bank currently serves around 3.2 crore customers through nearly 6,400 banking outlets across 35 of India’s 36 States and Union Territories, supported by a workforce of over 74,500 employees.
Speaking on the Bank’s performance, MD & CEO, Partha Pratim Sengupta said, “Our Q1 FY2026-27 performance reflects the resilience of Bandhan Bank’s franchise, the commitment of our teams, and the trust our stakeholders continue to place in us.”
The Bank continues to focus on expanding its retail portfolio, accelerating digital transformation, and strengthening financial inclusion through customer-centric banking services.
