Sanjay Shirsat alleges AIMIM leader pressured corporator to shelter TCS case accused Nida Khan

Maharashtra minister and Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsat alleged that AIMIM leader Imtiaz Jaleel pressured a party corporator to provide shelter to Nida Khan, an accused in the alleged TCS sexual harassment and religious coercion case.
Speaking to reporters in Mumbai, Shirsat claimed that Khan stayed for over a month at a house owned by AIMIM corporator Matin Patel in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar after going into hiding.
Khan, who is accused in multiple cases linked to alleged religious conversion attempts, molestation and harassment at a Tata Consultancy Services unit in Nashik, was arrested from a house in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Thursday after evading authorities for weeks.
Shirsat, who is also the guardian minister of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, said he has written to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis demanding that individuals who allegedly sheltered Khan and her family also be investigated by the Special Investigation Team probing the case.
“The details emerging from the TCS case are shocking. Nida Khan first went to Mumbra and later Imtiaz Jaleel met her in Nashik and publicly supported her. She later stayed in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar at the residence of an AIMIM corporator,” Shirsat alleged.
He further claimed that the corporator could not deny knowledge of Khan’s presence and alleged that Jaleel had pressured the corporator to help her.
Shirsat also alleged that members associated with the banned Students Islamic Movement of India had become part of the AIMIM.
The Nashik Police SIT is currently investigating nine FIRs linked to allegations of molestation, harassment, hurting religious sentiments, mental harassment and attempts at forced religious conversion at the TCS unit.
Police have already arrested eight people in the case, including a female operations manager.
According to the FIRs, Khan allegedly targeted employees through WhatsApp groups, pressured women employees to offer prayers and consume non-vegetarian food, and advised them to dress and behave according to Islamic traditions.
Shirsat described the TCS case as “an isolated incident” but alleged there were “many Nida Khans in Maharashtra”.
AIMIM leader and former MP Imtiaz Jaleel had earlier dismissed Shirsat’s allegations and said he would not pay attention to the Shiv Sena leader’s remarks regarding the case.
