RGCIRC hosts Continuing Medical Education programme

Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre (RGCIRC), Rohini, hosted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme titled “Breaking Barriers in Women’s Cancer: From Prevention to Survivorship” at Indraprastha Hall. The event brought together gynaecologists, oncologists, and healthcare professionals to discuss the latest approaches in prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship care for breast, cervical, endometrial, and ovarian cancers. Dr Sudhir Rawal, medical director, RGCIRC, welcomed participants and highlighted the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration. Dr DS Gangwar, CEO, RGCIRC, stressed the critical role of primary care physicians and gynaecologists in the entire cancer care continuum.
Sessions were conducted by Dr Renuka Gupta, Dr Garima Daga, Dr Vandana Jain, Dr Vishvak Chanthar, and Dr Indu Aggarwal. The CME promoted integrated clinical practices, stronger referral pathways between gynaecologists and oncologists, and improved survivorship support.
