‘Nitish Kumar got everything done’: Lalu Yadav calls security withdrawal politically motivated

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has alleged that the withdrawal of security cover for him and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi was politically motivated and orchestrated by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
Reacting to the decision, Lalu claimed that “Nitish Kumar got everything done,” suggesting that the move was driven by political considerations rather than security assessments.
The controversy erupted after the Bihar government reportedly withdrew the Z+ security cover provided to Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi.
The decision has triggered strong reactions from RJD leaders and supporters, who have accused the state government of targeting opposition figures. Tejashwi Yadav's security arrangements, however, remain unchanged.
RJD leaders have described the move as an attempt to harass the party leadership ahead of key political developments in the state.
Meanwhile, the Bihar government has not officially linked the decision to any political factors. The latest dispute adds another chapter to the long-running political rivalry between Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad Yadav, two of Bihar's most influential political figures.
