Nadda inaugurates Yashoda’s AI-enabled E-ICU centre

In a significant boost to critical care infrastructure, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare, JP Nadda, inaugurated Yashoda Medicity’s AI-enabled E-ICU Command Centre on Tuesday. This CSR initiative by Yashoda Foundations connects the specialist hub at Yashoda Medicity to the ICU at MMG District Hospital, Ghaziabad. The centre uses Artificial Intelligence to monitor real-time patient data, providing early warnings for clinical deterioration.
This allows a super-specialised team from Yashoda to provide 24/7 remote supervision and evidence-based decision-making for patients at the district hospital, ensuring high-quality intensive care is accessible to economically weaker sections. Inaugurating the facility, Nadda praised the power of technology in strengthening healthcare, noting that such platforms encourage hospitals to extend expert oversight to broader communities. Dr PN Arora, Chairman and Managing Director of Yashoda Group of Hospitals, stated that the vision is to combine intelligent monitoring with expert clinical oversight to reach patients far beyond hospital walls.
Executive Director Shubhang Arora added that the project focuses on scalable, technology-led delivery to standardise care across connected hospitals. The integration aims to improve clinical outcomes through risk stratification and proactive coordination. YashodaMedicity plans to expand this AI-driven model to additional district hospitals, further bridging the gap in specialised medical access across the region.
