KIIT conferred national ranking award 2026 for outstanding sports infrastructure

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT), Bhubaneswar, has been conferred the National Ranking Award 2026 for “Best Institution for Overall Sports Infrastructure” at the prestigious Global Sports Education Convention (G-SEC) 2026, held in New Delhi last week.
The award was presented as part of the National Ranking Awards in Sports & Physical Education 2026, instituted by the Confederation of Sports and Recreation Industry (CSRI) in association with the Sports Assessment and Audit Board (SAAB). The national-level convention was supported by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, and witnessed the participation of leading universities, policymakers, and sports administrators from across the country

The recognition acknowledges KIIT’s exceptional contribution to the development of world-class sports infrastructure, athlete-centric training ecosystems, and the promotion of sports education and excellence at both grassroots and elite levels. Over the years, KIIT has emerged as a benchmark institution in India for integrated sports development, combining education, high-performance training, and research.
