J&K: Terrorists spotted at international border in Kathua, Samba

Terrorist handlers sitting across the border with Pakistan are bent upon infiltrating a fresh batch of terrorists in active connivance with the Pakistani Rangers inside the Indian territory to launch sensational strikes on vital security installations across the Jammu region.
According to the latest intelligence alerts, suspected movement of fresh recruits close to the terror launch pads across the international border with Pakistan has been spotted by the security agencies in the Kathua and Samba sectors of the Jammu frontier.
Some of these terrorists, armed with sophisticated weapons, have been seen participating in the combat drills inside their terror training camps. Intelligence alerts suggested the security personnel conduct searches as part of anti-terror operations across the Jammu region following intelligence inputs about a possible infiltration attempt by terrorists from across the border amid dense fog in the Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir.
Terrorist handlers may try to push in these terrorists in small batches, taking advantage of the thick blanket of fog along the international border.
To foil the nefarious designs of Pakistan-based handlers, the security forces have been kept in a state of high alert, and additional troops have been deployed on regular patrolling duty to foil these infiltration bids.
The Border Security Force has already activated the Winter Border Management Program to ensure zero infiltration from across the border with Pakistan. Meanwhile, anti-terrorist operations are going on in full swing across the Jammu region to flush out the hiding group of foreign terrorists in the upper reaches of Jammu heights.
Massive combing and search operations have been launched across the frontier Rajouri and Poonch districts after recording suspected movement of terrorists in some of the areas closer to the line of control.
To ensure better coordination on ground zero, jawans of the Jammu and Kashmir police, along with the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Army personnel are maintaining a tight vigil and participating in the searches at various locations near the International Border (IB) in Kathua, Samba, Jammu and Rajouri districts, besides the Chatroo forest belt in Kishtwar. Similar search operations are also going on at Babar Nallah, Paloora, Treyal, Mansar, and Chilla Danga in Samba, and Pragwal and adjoining areas in the Akhnoor sector.
Meanwhile, searches have also been intensified in the Rajouri district to thwart any infiltration bid by terrorists. At least four grenades were recovered during one of the combing operations on Friday.
In Kishtwar district, security forces conducted searches in over a dozen forest villages for the second day on Saturday after locals reported movement of suspected terrorists. Senior army and police officials are supervising these anti-terror operations.
