IP University organises Vikshit Bharat Yuva Connect programme

The National Service Scheme (NSS) of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, under the Guidance of Prof. (Dr) Varun Joshi, Dean USEM, successfully organized the programme “Viksit Bharat, Yuva Connect 2.0” with the objective of fostering youth engagement in the national vision of Viksit Bharat@2047.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and distinguished guests, creating an enriching platform for dialogue, learning, and reflection.
The programme commenced with a formal inauguration marked by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by respected dignitaries.
The session highlighted the significance of youth involvement in nation-building and emphasised the need for leadership, responsibility, and innovation among young citizens. The highlight of the event was the insightful address delivered by the Viksit Bharat Yuva Connect Youth Icon, Mr. Abhigyan Pandey, who shared his valuable perspectives on the evolving role of youth in shaping India’s future.
Drawing from his academic and professional experiences, he encouraged students to actively contribute toward inclusive growth, sustainable development, and social responsibility. His interaction with students proved both inspiring and thought-provoking.
The programme also reflected the core values of the National Service Scheme, whose motto, “Not Me, But You,” continues to inspire students to engage in selfless service and responsible citizenship.
Initiatives like Yuva Connect complement the mission of NSS by offering opportunities for meaningful engagement with national priorities while nurturing leadership and awareness among young individuals.
The event concluded with a formal Vote of Thanks delivered by Professor Dr Ravinder Kumar, who expressed gratitude to the distinguished speakers, dignitaries, faculty members, organisers, volunteers, and students for their contributions and participation. The programme successfully reinforced the spirit of collaboration, awareness, and commitment among youth towards building a developed and progressive India.
