Indian national among 4 killed in Georgia

An Indian national was among four people killed in a shooting linked to an alleged family dispute in the US State of Georgia, local authorities and the Indian Consulate in Atlanta confirmed. The incident occurred in Lawrenceville city after police received a call reporting gunfire at a residential property. Officers arriving at the scene found four adults inside the home with gunshot injuries.
All were pronounced dead at the location. Local authorities said three children, aged seven, 10 and 12, were present in the house during the shooting. In an act of quick thinking, the children reportedly hide inside a closet to avoid harm. The eldest child, aged 12, managed to dial emergency services, allowing police to reach the scene within minutes.
