India successfully conducts 3 Ballistic Missile Defence tests in 2 days, achieves major DRDO milestone

India has successfully conducted three Ballistic Missile Defence (BMD) tests within a span of two days, marking a significant achievement in the country's strategic defence capabilities. The tests, carried out by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), demonstrated the effectiveness of India's indigenous missile interception system.
The successful trials showcased the capability of the BMD system to detect, track and neutralise incoming ballistic missile threats at different altitudes. Defence officials described the achievement as a major step towards establishing a robust multi-layered air and missile defence shield for the country.
With the latest tests, India has further strengthened its position among a select group of nations possessing advanced ballistic missile interception technology. The achievement comes amid growing security challenges and highlights the country's progress in indigenous defence research and development.
The DRDO has been steadily enhancing India's missile defence architecture through a series of successful trials over the years. The latest milestone is expected to boost the armed forces' preparedness against emerging aerial threats and reinforce national security.
