India’s Twin Triumph wins Ironman 70.3 championship

India marked a proud moment on the global endurance sports map as twin siblings Vidhi Gupta and Vaibhav Gupta etched their names in history by successfully completing the prestigious Iron man 70.3 . What made the feat even more extraordinary was that the twins crossed the finish line alongside their father, Manish Gupta, turning the race into a powerful story of family, perseverance, and shared ambition. Held in the scenic yet demanding terrain of Muscat, the championship is regarded as one of the toughest endurance events in the region, drawing elite triathletes from across the world.
Completing the race places the Guptas among a select group of Indian athletes who have conquered the Half Ironman format on an international stage.By finishing the race, Vidhi and Vaibhav Gupta emerged as among the youngest twin siblings from India to complete this globally recognised endurance challenge. More importantly, doing so alongside their father underscored a rare and inspiring example of cross-generational fitness, discipline, and shared commitment to sport.
